1. These Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this site. Please
read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We may change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will
take effect on the date they are posted onto the site (see date posted
at bottom of this page). Please read the terms and conditions each time
you place an order, to ensure that you are familiar with the most current
ones.
2. Our Contract
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in
your order up until you submit your order (by clicking the Confirm Order
button on the Order Confirmation page).
After submitting an order to us we will give you an Order Reference Number
and details of the products you have ordered. We will send these details
to you in an e-mail (our first e-mail). Please note that this e-mail is
an acknowledgement, not acceptance of your order.
Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract
between us will only occur when we send you a second e-mail, which will
contain details of how we will deliver your products to you.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any
reason and may invite you to pay by another method.
We will then send you a third e-mail confirming the despatch of your order.
3. Prices and Payment
All prices and charges on this site are shown in UK pounds sterling. Prices
shown on Product Pages are including VAT. and including delivery charges
(for details see ‘Delivery’ below).
The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order,
including VAT at the current rate. All these will be set out clearly in
your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability and may change
before (but not after) we accept your order. If an item becomes unavailable
we may offer you an alternative.
We try very hard to ensure that all information on this site is accurate.
However, just occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error
in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will tell
you and ask you whether you wish to continue with your order or cancel
it.
4. Delivery
All deliveries must be signed for by the contact person whom you have
provided on your order. (except items sent by post and which are small
enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the
receipt enclosed with your goods.
5. Delivery Charges
Effective from 1st January 2007 we are offering free* delivery on all items
ordered through our website. (* Applies to UK Mainland deliveries only).
6. How we Deliver
All our sunglasses and eyewear products are delivered by national Royal
Mail Special Delivery.
7. Delivery Times
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday
inclusive. If you order after 3.00pm, please calculate your delivery time
as if your order had been placed the following working day. In the case
of bank holidays and just before Christmas, please allow an extra two
working days.
Royal Mail Special Deliveries will arrive within 3-5 Working Days of placing
your order. Please allow for delays over public holiday periods.
All deliveries must be signed for.
We will make every effort to deliver on one of the preferred dates and
slots you specify when you order. We will contact you beforehand to confirm
the delivery date and, if possible, an am or pm delivery slot. This will
usually be in our third e-mail to you.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified
in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected
by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed.
We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.
8. Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition.
In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please
follow the instructions in the delivery documents.
10. This Website
We, our group companies and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks
and all other intellectual property rights in all published material and
content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit
or otherwise make available by any other means only for your own personal,
non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content
is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without our prior written
consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by
anyone else.
11. General
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website
are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction
of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and
conditions.
Your data protection rights are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Additional terms and conditions may apply for prize competitions, pre-release
orders and our added value services and offers. If so, you will be alerted
to them at the relevant juncture.
These terms and conditions only cover the GlamourSunglasses.co.uk website. Any
other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their
own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for
the content or operation of websites which are not under our control.
We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English
only and that no public filing requirements apply.

Returns
Policy
Returning an item:
Damage
In the unlikely event you should receive your goods damaged
we will arrange a replacement item for you. It is your responsibility
to notify us within 72 hours of receipt that an item has been received
damaged (please see risk below).
Risk
As soon as we have delivered the products to your door you, the customer,
are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on
the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time
of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall
be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect
goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time
of delivery.
Incorrect/ Non delivery
If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us
within 72 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.
We can only accept liability for non-deliveries if we are notified within
3 days of the advised/anticipated delivery date.
No Fault Returns
Consumers are entitled to withdraw from this contract within seven days
of receiving your goods. Should you wish to take up this option, and return
the goods to us, contact our returns/service department and obtain a returns
authorisation number. This number will be valid for fourteen days and
must be clearly displayed along with your name and address details on
all returned goods. Returns made outside this 14 days will not be accepted.
Before you return the goods at your own cost and risk, it is your responsibility
to ensure that the goods are unused and in "as new" condition. They must
also be adequately packed, in their original packaging and complete with
all manuals and accessories. Goods received back that are not in "as new"
condition will be returned to you, at your cost. All returns are subject
to a re-stocking fee of 25% of the original selling price. Monies will
only be refunded once we have received and checked the returned goods.
Any money due will be credited within 30 days. An administration charge
of 5% of the selling price will apply to all non-faulty returns.
Faulty Returns
Products delivered which are faulty upon arrival should be notified within
7 days from the delivery date. We will arrange the uplift of the goods.
Upon receipt and confirmation of the fault you will be offered either
a replacement, a repair or full refund, providing the item is complete
with all accessories and in its original box and packaging. If the product
is not deemed faulty the goods will be returned to you. You will be liable
for both the uplift and return carriage charge. This returns policy does
not affect the buyers statutory rights.
